Manimahesh Temple is located at the base of the Manimahesh Kailash peak, considered the abode of Lord Shiva. The main attraction is the sacred Manimahesh Lake, where pilgrims take a holy dip during the annual yatra in August–September. The lake reflects the peak, which is believed to be impossible to scale due to divine protection. Devotees trek around 13 km from Hadsar to reach the lake and temple. The region is remote but spiritually powerful, and the pilgrimage is seen as an act of deep devotion and penance to seek Shiva’s blessings.
